This happens once a year in Big Sur. Any California people going? For jade enthusiasts this is the place to be. Hope to see some of you there, I will be there a week before taking in the numerous beaches & scenery and maybe getting some diving in. Polished jade you expect to find there:

How much does the Jade sell for at the festival? If I didn't live 3,000 miles away I would be there.

Larry thats a tough question. It really depends on the quality or where it comes from. Usually around 5 to 20 dollars a pound. Polished or real gemmy pieces go for more. Its a real trip at the festival, kinda like a time warp back to the 60's. There is non stop live music the entire 3 days and the Saturday nite dance party is a lot of fun. I usually take a week off before to relax and a week after to recover LOL!
