In me recent researches I have learned "bertrandite" is a green rock. I am leaning strongly in this direction for vegasjames green variscite like material. I have also learned the purple part of Tiffany stone is fluorite which explains the difficulty of flash photography.

Bertrandite is found all over the world, but Tiffany stone has only been found in Utah and Nevada. Yes, Nevada as well despite all the claims of Utah only. Tiffany stone is a conglomeration of up to 16 minerals including bertrandite, opal, chalcedony, quartz, fluorite, manganese, fluorite (flurospar), calcite, dolomite, etc.
