Joe Silvera is very good, so is Lexi Erickson. Don't know if Lexi does filigree. I just googled Lexi. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I LOVE her work. Thank you for name dropping her. I downloaded her ebook and look forward to looking through it. I like Joe's book and video. I learned with him first. I'm glad I did because I prefer to pick solder when I can.

I got the Metal Smithing at Home with Kate Richbourg. I liked her style because it's so simple & basic & that's what I needed. I still haven't watched it all the way through. Just too many distractions right now!!!!

Also I got it when it was on sale for $19.95. I will look at those you mentioned too. It was great to have someone come give me my first lesson & I am hoping I can do it again in the very near future!

OK, thanks Donnie. Yes, it is great to learn from someone in person. I wish I could.

There must be something in the air or water. I was looking on FB and found another person I know just starting out, too. Good luck to you too Roy.
