Sorting recent rocks from San Carlos beach, I found what might be an MC Escher. Do you see a white gull or a black grackle?

Looks like this thread is slowing now, hope more people find things to put up here. Want to say my wife and I enjoyed all the contributions, had a good time looking through it. Thanks to all. Thanks to meviva for starting it up. Larry

Garock, You are only looking at the head side of the rock. Wait until I show you the tail. But good point about it potentially being a ghost bird. Its in the tumbler now, lets see what it is when it comes out. Tom

Thanks to meviva for starting it up. Larry Yes it has slowed down….that just means we have to go look at our rocks and find more to post. I have to sort through some today so maybe I'll find something. I has been fun seeing them all. Andrea

I've posted this one before, but I call it The Miner's Heart. Both shown sides have deep amethyst lined cavities really making it heart like. Sorry it's a kinda big pic.

Looking at CaptBob's signature line it seems appropriate to post another rock from that San Carlos beach. Tom

Tony was cutting up some morrisonite at Quartzsite when he found this slab. Pulled it aside for his personal collection. Calls it his Lorena Bobbitt slab...
