That is a really nice slab of that material. I haven't seen any decent rough in a few years. Tabu Tabu is a brecciated jasper out of Africa.

WOWSER! Loudest breccia I have ever seen. I had heard of tabu tabu and wondered what it was... love me a loud breccia, I love this!

Africa's version of Stone Canyon jasper, eh? Nice colors and patterns. Brecciated is right up there with poppies for me.

I just love that slab <'))))>< Fish! As soon as I saw it I was reminded of a small agate that I have just recently cut. I found this on a trip out west two years ago just outside Cedar City, UT. I hope you don't mind me posting my similar material here. I've been wanting to post it for snowmom, because I know how much she likes brecciated pieces, but I hadn't gotten the chance to take a picture in good light yet. Sorry about the quality of picture as I just took them indoors.

If this was north of Cedar City, its what they call Bloody Creek Agate, I have quite a bit of it, Beautiful agate

Would that make this Bloody Creek Agate? Love getting names for the stuff I have hounded! Thanks RockPowell!

wow, I like the little poppies or fortifications that show in some of the pieces of breccia. Rock Lust is alive and well and sitting at my computer right now! Such beautiful stuff! loving this!

I have 2 slabs cut, with another 4 pounds to cut. Have one on ebay, I sell a lot on my Facebook page.
