Ha, I got tons of attention on this forum because of coral. Jeff is the coral king. Master of heating, cutting, finding, knapping.
Good to see you display the beauty of this fine stone. Keep em coming

Great work!!! Eat your heart out Jamesp I will gladly bow before this gentleman. Guessing we will connect one day and go treasure hunting. The both of us love the hunt as much as the treasure. Jeff used to stomp around at the location my camp is at. I believe he has more treasure hunting tricks up his sleeves than I do. Got to unleash him on some spots i know of from exploring around the area over the years.

Now now Jeff. I have seen them twice on the north section of Lake George in twenty years. Too much water, too little activity. Plus they can't get there boat within 100-400 yards of the shore. See their air boats spraying herbicide and polluting the lake with dead plant matter so they can make money on the boating industry. And the forestry service checking on their unnatural money making sand pine crop. Those guys are the biggest criminals. Destroy more habitat than every civilian in Florida put together. It's all about the dollar. The public is very deceived.

Help me ID this. Made of Florida chert. Perfect egg shape. Pointed side looks beat up as if used as a hammer. L Rodman, at native camp. Chert all imported to this lake. Guessing a pestle, as in mortar and pestle...thoughts ? Perhaps a hammer head ? He worked his butt off to form hard chert into this shape.

Long since sold this 35HP Devil. Warren at Go Devil help me set this one up. Do you know what the two tubes mounted on the stern vertically are for ? Never liked this boat in shoal water, hull was 1000 pounds. Too dang heavy.

Looked up bola. Two tied together. Swung to tangle game. The tip of this one is sure nuff broken off flat. Lots of work, why not just use any rock. This guy claimed late paleo ?? Thanks, would have never known. Rodman is the Oklawaha, but about all the water comes from it's tributary Silver River. www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/gallery/image/21450-bola-stones/
