An update to my computer seemed to change everything and so I thought I would post this pendent I did while I made an effort to work with the computer. I used a piece of Chinese "turquoise" for the cab. Enjoy! Tell me what you think.

I like it! It has a nice flow to it and it has an updated Southwestern flair.

Thank you all for your kind words. I am now working on a pair of earrings to go with the pendant.

Gorgeous. Love it. Chinese turquoise is still turquoise as long as it's not chalk and resin. It's just that we humans have decided North American (or Persian) turquoise is the best and tend to turn up our noses at anything else. Reminds me of the stock exchange.

Wow that is great, I am simply amazed at the talents of everyone here, that is a inspirational piece,
Don't forget to play my guess the miles game on the comp board, free to play free to win, (prize a random slablet of purple calico lace agate! )

IDK if it's just me, but your pix are not showing up. Even the original post pic is gone.

Ok now I see them. Must've been a glitch on my end.
Fabulous work on the set!

There was some trouble at the image hosting site. After I posted I could not see the pictures either. When I checked just now all of a sudden every thing is good. Go figure. Thank you all for the nice comments. I appreciate the support.

The earrings are fabulous! What a really great set. I am in love with that setting style and the work is sweet, too.

Two more pieces I have completed. Different style. Slabbed, cabbed and mounted: lepidolite and stichtite.

Very nice! Looks like the other kind of Indian to me, like from a paisley design. An Indian woman told me that some Indians call the color turquoise "copper sulfate" as in that's a beautiful copper sulfate sari.
