On my Rio Grande email there was a video of a master silversmith, Jeffrey Herman. All my tools when I first started were second hand from pawn shops in the New Mexico, Arizona area. Some of the tool boxes I bought belonged to native americans that made their own stamps, had a saw, hammer and file, minimalist for sure. If there was such a thing as tool envy I have it. When this guy dies .... he wins. (the guy who collects the most) Here is a lot more pictures of his studio and biography on what he does. www.riojeweler.com/jewelers/jeffrey-herman/

That is one impressive collection of tools , glad I don't plan on being a master silversmith . I'd spend most of the day looking for the right tool . I prefer the minimalist approach . Less tools , less tools to keep track of .
