@shotgunner some of the ground up there is on mining claims. That is part of the dispute. What zarguy said above. If they have a true claim, and it is well marked, i have zero doubt we will respect this. I would simply take float and chips for tumbles. I and all the friends we have at RTH are respectful of others property. Shoot, they can set up a fee dig and everyone wins. BTW if it's on true claim, the locale is public record. Our trip has zero to do with outing a secret. DonWith some info from Dave and a little more research, there is 1 active claim and it's about a mile away from where the club usually collects. Should be fine to collect there. Also, Scott is correct, the claim is public record. Side note, "at"don tags someone else. Use "at"redrockrods to tag me.

You picked the right weekend. It works for me! I know there are lots of places people want to hound in Utah. I can offer to lead a Friday & a Saturday trip to 2 of my favorite places. One for Cedar City agate & the other to Holt Canyon for jasper and agate. I would also offer my house & yard for a BBQ/potluck. Either Fri or Sat. Lynn Good Morning, my day ended to full yesterday but will get with you today to discuss trip lodging. Con an I fly American so looks like Vegas will be our best Fly-In spot. We were thinking about flying in a few days early vegasjames what will you be getting into around May 4/5th?

1dave, zarguy said he is willing to guide on Friday and Saturday. So I was thinking we would meet up Friday? If not I am assuming Lynn will only be doing Saturday. Is this correct?

My understanding is @shotgunner won't get here until Saturday. If he starts in St. George with Don . . .

Since I've never been to the area others that are meeting up with all of us may know already where they want to go so the noon lunch may not effect anyone. I'm just along for the ride and the hunt. Gotta admit I don't eat much though 😂 Anyone have any suggestions or possible itineraries??? Con an I are thinking we are going to fly into Vegas on Thursday and wing it till me meet up with everyone in Cedar City. Do a little road side hounding along the way.

We're good with Friday as well. Either with Lynn or Don. We'll be in an amazing state with a rental car with nothing but time LOL How far is St George with Don @shotgunner?

Yes. @shotgunner and jeannie arrive Saturday. We will bonsai out Friday night after school. Should make St George by bedtime. Maybe even Cedar city. I'm thinking we should start a group text with zarguy to sort out details.
