I like it when they come pre-tumbled like that. Straight to pre-polish and polish. Saves time.

I just bought some rough carnelian for the tumbler(s). What I have is far from round, but I sure like the round shape for carnelian. I wonder how long it will take to get them to a "rounded" shape? Any experiences?

Nice looking Carnelian!!! Lots of that material here in Oregon,some of my favorite to hound too.... As you stated,it really stands out in a crowd,expecially when it stands in water..........

Wife loves the beach,I just tolerate it,because of rocks,wood and other garbage that floats up there... Seen so many sneaker waves come in on people and they freak out,like they thought it would never happen! LOL

Bad thing is,you see an agate,the waves come in before you can grab it-so you wait for the waves to go back out,than find out the agate is gone! LOL

I have a few friends that soak them in hot water and Dawn dish soap,than dry it out-rub mineral oil on it and it really shines up,naturally!
