hello all not the best place but it is local and close by and have sevral places to access it. Stopped in for a couple photos and found a couple things, was only doen here for about 15 min and had to leave , you never know what you are gonna find down here. this creek is prone to serve flash flooding, love gettong down in there after water levels recess, turns up a lot of different material. Cool place to hound. this is average water flow sometimes less. No deeper then about 12"-18" But in a matter of minutes can turn deadly and fill the entire area bank to bank of tje first picture. a good tool for hounding ,very usefull. Not sure but this looks like it can be petrified bark?

Gotta love those flash floods and heavy rainstorms. Sure saves a lot of digging. Smart !!

Did you hear about the statistician who drowned crossing a river? It was three feet deep, on average.

Awesome creek bed. My are not that wide that I love to hound but with all the rains we have had should have churned some more rocks up. I could spend all day in that creek bed. Nice place

I love going to this place, the creek runs for about 36 miles from where it meets the Arkansas river. Have several access points from pueblo to foutain. It's scary fun in some spots. We know it well. Especially mindful of the water flow.
