Hi, I'm Jennifer. I have been going through a rough patch lately and thought tumbling might help me smooth a few things out. You see, even if one rotten day is followed by another, if you've got a tumbler going, you can think, "At least my rocks are getting better." I have always loved rocks and fossils. Decades ago I had one of those plastic-barreled things, and recently it came to me (rather abruptly) that I should get a real tumbler and do the real thing. So after some research, here I am (ta-da!)

Those soil pipe cutters make opening geodes a lot easier. They are so expensive though. Tumbling therapy. I can accept that. I think the slab saw cutting sound is very soothing.

Not for free, but about 1/4 the cost.

Welcome from Texas. Rock tumbling and rock hounding are great therapy. It soothes the soul.

Hi Jennifer sorry to hear things have been testing. Slabbing, tumbling and cabbing have a way of polishing away the rough and leaving you with the smooth. Hope it works well for you.
