The flint ridge is right around the corner. May 26,27,28 very cool looking flint and lots of venders selling flint and other rock related items.
Last year I was talking to a lady at a booth, about everything. She ask me where I was from and I told her, then responded after answering, so where are you from..she said MARS. I said the plant? YES. I said well that's a long drive. i had to walk away because blood started dripping down my chin because I was biting my lip so hard trying not to laugh. But still interesting.
Let me know if your going. A meet and greet of RTH members. Have lunch.

Oh little brother I would love to come out and meet you and some local rth members but am so busy with this darn nursery. Would love to work on some but not knapping. Just in love with that stone. Frank from shattered halo and I were talking last night and he had picked up some last summer, I believe. Said the knappers just leave most of it in search of hard nodules. I hope that you guys have a great time. TY Cliff

"well, that's a long drive," hahaha, I like that one! That flint ridge stone really got around -- I think I've got a projectile point that I found here (Vermont) that is from there.
