Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. I re-located to Northern Wisco sin a few years ago from the desert Southwest. I have been collecting entire nodules for a while now, and live it here in WI.

Welcome! I've never been as far as Chippewa Falls although my grandmother's family were leading citizens around the turn of the last century. Actually- my great grandfather was the first policeman killed in the line of duty in Wisconsin. My daughter was in Osh Kosh. Wisconsin is a beautiful state. Lots of rocks, too!

Hey, send me a PM about your ancestors. Mine were leading citizens of the area as well. Who knows, we might be related? I have many long lost ancestors out there. Slowly reconnecting with them as I am big time into genealogy. Have some roots traced back to the 1400's. Not just names and dates., but newspaper articles, photos, etc. Sorry to hijack this thread.

Hi nwisconsin, we are from the Port Wing area on Lake Superior and live in Yuma AZ but spend summer up north. If you are ever in Hayward on a Monday they have an all day flea Mkt at the ice arena. We are set up just inside the building and have a large supply of slabs etc stop in introduce yourself and we can have a coffee. Milto
