Moved to Utah about 12 years ago and have accumulated rocks/petrified wood over that time. I decided my wife needed another chore so I bought a tumbler. so far so good. We're only into our third weeks with some local agate and it's coming fine. I joined here to learn more and have a place to ask questions as I progress.

Welcome! You sure live in a good state to get started in the rock hobbies. Lots of goodies around to play with.
Ask plenty of questions! At the risk of sounding like I'm bragging we've got a room full of world class rock tumblers here who love nothing more than helping and answering questions.

Welcome to the forum from Cedar City. Are you in St. George? Lynn We're in Toquerville, always heading to the Cedar area during the Summer. Then you should run into Rick Conely who teaches lapidary in your local area.
