Hello and thanks for letting us join the group. We are a family of 6 that live hunting for rocks and arrowheads! We are from Texas and are looking to learn more about geology, mineralogy, and rock cutting and polishing and lots more! Hello y'all!

I put a few up on the message boards under some different titles. They ate listed on my profile page. Not sure how to share the post they are in yet. I am in Colorado right now. Went to pikes peak today after work. Only had 3 hours. Found some cool tourmaline chips and maybe so e topaz. Nothing big. But had a good time. Ill be back later this summer. I have a friend that owns 400 acres in the Cortez area. Any rocks out there?

Welcome to the forum. Stop in Cortez and see Larry Sanchez at the Cortez Rock Shop He can maybe give you some ideas where to collect. That 4 Corners area should have petrified wood and illegal to collect dino bone.
