I am new to working with stones. Bought 8 one pound bags of stones and a vibrating tumbler. Followed the directions on this site and they polished beautifully. I hope to wrap them and make pendants. Need to look at the tutorials and figure out how to start wrapping them. They are tumbled stones natural shapes. From what I've read looks like 20 gauge round or square wire may be a good starting point. Never done any of this just looked livery creative to me.

Welcome to the forum, Not a cabber or a wrapper here but if you have been watching online tutorials you may have enough knowledge to ask the right questions, There are several professional artists in the forum who have done thousands of very nice pieces. They will probably tell you to study the tutorials to gain a basic knowledge. You have come to the right place to learn, study, but be patient and look through some of the old posts. They will answer most of your questions before you even think of asking. Good luck ! Cliff

They look nice and shiny. Be good to practice wrapping. Some people start with cheaper materials to practice their craft. Possibly copper wire. I'm sure you will read about it and do great.

Welcome Tim! You are definitely in the right place. There are some seriously good tumblers here who love to impart their knowledge. I am not one of them I suck at it but I keep trying.
