Yes. One more thing. Do not use the Quick Reply area of RTH, use the bigger REPLY area on the lower right.

Why not, Pat ? Heck, here's a test...I guess I'll find out. This is some rough I cut up the other day, and I'm using the Quick Reply box to paste the code. ETA: No issues using Quick Reply. Did you have problems with it in the past? Dave

Interesting Pat. I know the copy and paste commands are different (use of "command" key instead of ctrl key on Windows for copy and paste). I wonder if it has something to do with the browser (Safari). Maybe if I'm ambitious, I'll get on my Mac and try it to see what happens. When you say it didn't work, what happened? Not trying to challenge...only trying to help. Dave

aDave I forget. Will try later. My failed initial effort in Quick Reply, lead me to try in Reply. Emoticons are only available in Reply also.

Pat , the preformatted stuff is only available there. But, if you know the code or can copy and paste it in, you should be good. I am in quick reply right now (Windows still), and I manually tagged you, and I also created this smiley. I'll try to get on the Mac later and take a look. Dave

As far as the name, I really don't know. But, as far as location, barclay is correct...the multi-colored material came from a claim area (public is allowed) in the North Cady Mtns. I had asked Sabre52 if he knew specifically, and he said he and his rockhounding pals simply referred to it as "red, white, and blue" agate. The yellow is just a jasper from below the Afton Canyon area which was collected on the same trip.@shotgunner Dave

Testing testing,1,2,3..................LOL No ID required......Testing my photo ability... DSC01831 by Michael VanDyke, on Flickr Congrats Mike Fossilman , it looks like you got it! I'm going to give you one more step if you don't want your name and the other text to show when you post a photo. If you look at my photo, my name and photo info doesn't show like it does on yours. If it doesn't make a difference to you, then disregard. When you copied the code on Flickr for your photo, you actually got code for the photo itself AND all the other text. You didn't do anything wrong...it's just the way that Flickr generates the code. But, the "text" code can be eliminated while still allowing the photo to display - you just simply have to delete the "text" code after you paste it. You could also choose to only copy the code for the photo, but since this is new to you it might be easier to copy and paste the code and then do some deleting after the fact. After a few tries, you'll probably come to your own conclusion. The code for the photo (that Flickr generates) is the first bit of information in the first line, and it ends where you see "[/a]" (you won't see the quotes). If you delete everything after the first "[/a]" you see, only your photo will show. If you do that, it would look like this: Again, if it makes no difference to you, then you don't have to do anything. Hope this helps. Dave [/a]
