Ha you guys are great. Who wants some rocks? I'll ship some but Cliff can drive over and pick his up. He's not that far from my house. I know the agates are a big deal around this area is there a certain type beside the Montana agate that I should be looking for? Is there a nearby spot where I can find something you're after I'll go check it out. I've been stepping over the prairie agate and quite a few other similar rocks for weeks. I grabbed a few big pieces of prairie agate and the ones with neat patterns but there are so many I think I'd cave the floor in at my apartment up here.

Don't put your email in the public part. Use Pm for that. When you getting home? Im great.. Rich is pretty good when he's sober. Haven't been sober since the mother in law moved in. No montanas in your area or they would have a new name. Bakkens or Dakotas. Rios are agates along the Rio Grande. Yep had to move a bunh of rock and fermenting barrels because the floor was making cracking noises. True ! wigglinrocks
There ya go again , giving away my secrets .

I drive over to Sidney and visit some of the Island areas and rocky shores. Some of the gravel we get comes from that area as well. Also have been picking around Cartright just over the border. Find lots of nice pieces of wood that appear to be capable of receiving a polish. I shoot you my number in a PM and text or email over some pics of what I've got so far. I have quite a few rocks that I haven't identified yet. More so than not and I'm probably off track on most of the ones that I think are jaspers. The prairie agates and jaspers seem to be melded together.

I haven't had the fortune of working on a rig. Shortly after starting I wanted to get on one and work toward consulting. I spent quite a bit of time working around workover and completions but have spent most of my time operating plants, pumping wells, and doing midstream work. Currently I have to walk around inspecting all of these locations and have good reason to walk the pipeline right of ways looking for leaks. I checked some parking lots recently and stumbled upon some fist size chunks of chert. I tossed a piece in my agate box and it threw a nice spark. Sort of surprised me. Howdy Wigglinrocks that's a great name, I'll have to read back through some threads and see who's who on here. Thanks for the warm welcome. More of a pumper job? Lots of great new ocations with the freshly scraped collecting sites. Huge smile. If its a large company that will get you into awesome places in Texas for collecting that great stuff there. I think Texas just might be my next stop. I'd like to shake the Dakotas before winter hits. Last year the combination of cutbacks and awesome -60 with windchill wasn't up my alley. I think warmer weather and a boom would be easier to take.

There ya go again , giving away my secrets . I get home tomorrow evening. Going to go see what the hold up is on my bass boat. Need to get down to Hite and catch some bass. I hope I can manage to do some fishing before I jump on the bank and start picking through gravel

Wonder if he knows how ruthless I am? He's a rough neck rig hand too. Bet it will be fun. Will try and take him on a thunder run to the pet wood area on the ranch and pick up a ton of the purdy stuff. Will be Christmas at yours and some other's houses in July..1 ton dually, full bed.. Maybe more than a ton from DoBells. Might need Tony..

Wonder if he is out fishing or glazed eyed now . Glazed not baked. My eyes get glazed with wood at times. Maybe ole rockdunker is multi talented and can be both. Bet the Dakotas are hot. You pretty close to where Noah allegedly works. Ought t o have him teach you to fish. Get a little explosives and a 12 pack. I like night fishing, Cooler and can see the bait when the blasting cap sparks it. hehehehhe Heres some of Noah/s material hes finding. What you think? Looks like prairie agate to me. Thinks the first agate is wood. What you think? I say no.
Depends on what you call close , from the middle of WI , cross MN and Dakota . Be a nice morning stroll . Wish I was closer . The first rock does look like a prairie , I would cut that one to see the guts . Kinda hard to tell what the box contains , send em over and I will id them . Actually I do know how to fish , C4 makes quite a splash . Makes the fish mushy though .

Found my missing box of rocks.. Was on a deck of the house that I never go to but apparently the post guy found it. Been there a couple days. Just got back from out local postal annex and the new driver explained where he left it and when I got home walked right to it.. TaDA,, First one of the assorted box was a bag that says Bruneau jasper.. Bruneau JAsper.. What a great and wonderful surprise !! Woohoo Have never had a piece of this legendary rock until now.,.And No wigglinrocks .. U cant borrow it.. You would either lose it, break it, or trade it for some magic beans.. Maybe magic shrooms..Grin~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bruneau !!
Oh come on now , you know I would give some of it back .
