Fishnpinball hello from summit county! Cool find, I want to say it's an epidote vein going thru granite or something made up of white feldspar n quartz

You will run a cross many rocks that have no name. If they look cool to you, then pick it up, you will never go wrong. But...if you do that too much, you will need a bigger house. :) Nothing wrong with that.

To me, the green banding looks to be surface colorization only .... probably due to a layer of pond scum that was lineated onto the stone by the depth of the rock in the water. My eyes see too much of the colorization of the underlying stone within the green band. If you were to select a portion of the stone and scratch it with a metal object, I'm guessing you'll find that the green banding scrapes off.
Not an expert, just my opinion based on years of rockhounding and finding many similar stones.
