The letters are one inch tall. I can't imagine much of a market for "Mr. Abram" name plates. How many people would both have that name and be into rocks enough to want one? Lots of people would love natural stone name plates. Break up the finished sterile lines of a corporate office. Maybe use acid or such to etch the name into a limestone or similar rock for speed of production and fancy fonts.
I have a large boulder in my front yard with my address engraved into it. I hired the guy who owns the local tombstone shop to do it for me. He ground down an area to work on and then sandblasted the address into the rock. He came to my house to do it. They have to be portable to be able to go into the cemetery and put death dates markers.

Then... I will send you more flint fidge flint so you don't have to worry about hounding. It's a "pay it forward" for me. It's not the rocks I'll miss as much as the time to wade in the water looking for them. Ok then, I will up them in a large Tupperware bowl full of water. On wadding but your hands will get wet. :) Sounds like a deal to me.

It doesn't really look like limestone to me, but the inside color is sort of limestonish. It's not a very pretty stone inside, so I'm not too concerned about what it is.

I was only half kidding about jade. Could be chert too. Was it medium hard?

I'm not really sure how hard it is because I haven't done that much with my new grinder to compare to. It doesn't look like other chert found around here. I've also never seen a piece of chert as big as this is around here.
