Noah, rockdunker brought his haul of rock from North Dakota where he works during the week to play with my rocks. Prairie agates, moss agates, clinker, carnelians, wood, and great Montana agates. A lot of stuff Noah collects from a gravel operation and oil field work. He also does a lot of collecting out in the boonies. His rocks didn't fight and played with my truck pile rocks from here in Colorado.
His weeks worth of prairie agates. He's becoming a ruthless high grader.
The carnelian, one of which had a bluish chalcedony on it.
The clinker formed from superheating rocks when underground coal seams in ancient times became ignited.
Very intensively high graded Montana agates, all with great internal inclusions.
A hand full sample of some of the broken ones
Moss agates
And a get together of all the rocks and trucks.
The truck pile where I unload my rocks to pick through them to take in or leave out for kids who come to the nursery to rockhound.
Noah took off on me to go fishing in the nursery lake while I washed and sorted all the rocks. His best bass a 7 pounder or so he set the hook so hard the fish is probably in Utah.
My last stop of the day, I bailed on Noah to search thru the house for his family and I bee lined to the liquor store where I found a sign in the back which I promptly defaced by adding "to deport" . Sorry not politically correct here and cant resist temptation. grinning as always..
Last one is Noah guarding his rocks and his pink bicycle from Rich, sometimes Dale.

Not a kid that needs over sized and under ability tires on his ride. Like the idea of strapping on 5,000 pounds on the dually and feel it get up to governor speed at 120 in a short spell. Has the smarty 2 programmer in it. No chip chips!! The truck flies. Has extra cup holders too.

Zig zaggin will buy me the time to nab that nifty pink bike and Rich a shot at a couple rocks. Needs at least two cause we always share. If he gets 3 then we'll ride the pink bike over to the hospital and bring a rock for you to see.

Wow that clinker is cool. Looks almost like mook.....Mel Cool Mel but has micro pits and is highly variable. Soft and harder pieces. Pits like the gray part of Serape. Noah has a cab of it and it takes a fair polish. Better than matte and if you did a good capture you might do ok.

Ha good times Cliff, glad to see you again. Thanks for the help sorting and the education on those stones. Looking forward to getting back up there with a more dicerning eye. As for that pink bike I'd go for something else. When my baby girl starts crying daddy get emotional too. Thanks again for cool rocks as well. Got that crazy lace on display in the dining room.

Pretty sure the G17 was somewhere nearby. I always lose those damn guns and find them again. I guess I might have too many. Blahahaha no such thing. We picked some out to send to you. Hope you get some use out of them when you get done pounding nails and loading all of that wood up.

If it don't get you divorced we can make a run to the Hotchkiss area and break up some 3 ft diameter red boulders for some fluorite crystals.

Ex Noah, did the boat thing for 25+ years. Decided I had had enough a few years back. Over being in the Florida sun all day every day. Would rather hoard rocks - in the shade!
Your tires are fine Cliff. For a 5' tall girl's truck. Just figured you needed messin' with.

I always forget something. Next time I come out I'll load up a bunch sub sonic loads we can go whisper to some prairie dogs about digging holes. Maybe I leave it there for awhile.

I've got those picks, digging bars, wedges and sledge hammers. You say when and we'll hit the road. Headed back Tuesday night. Rivers should be down a bit from high flow. Gonna be some good picking.
