Obtained a few piece of Fordite ( aka Detroit Agate ). Would like to know if anybody would be willing to share the procedure of How to Cut Cabochons using this material? Such as coolant used when sawing, best way to dop, hot wax, glue, etc? Best polishing agent you have found to work? This an any other information would very much be appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to assist this senior citizen. IV USAF 62-66

Chuck is awesome at the Fordite. Look at how he created "the capture" when he cut it. Careful and perfect use of an expensive and rare material.

If you can give me a little time to determine how to post the photo I'll see what I can do? Thank you! IV
