Well I'm looking to find my inner Muse. Have been pretty depressed lately so I figured that maybe if I post a little I'll get back into it. I am in the process of getting a new shop built so I have not had the chance to do any lapidary or other hobby work for over 6 months now. I love to work with Brazilian agates such solid and uniform stuff so I thought I would post a couple from a while back https://

WOW!!! Those are awesome! I love the 2nd and 3rd. Sorry you are bumming. It sucks when you are bumming and don't have your creative outlet.

Thanks for the kind words Tela. The depression will pass as a matter of fact the last two days have been better. I live in a ring of fire literally as you probably know Montana is burning down the air quality is so bad I limited myself to an hour a day working on the shop. Irma and Harvey victims have it much worse than me but there are those here that have lost their homes or had to evacuate. When the shop is done and all the machines and tools are there I'll once more be a happy camper

All eyes have been on the storms, but y'all are suffering, too. Be safe. Do you have a respirator of any kind? Maybe that would help you to get your shop done quicker.

Your inner muse is speaking loud and clear. These are great pieces. Nicely done!
Sorry to hear about the fires. Hope you're okay.

Nice cabs. What is happening in your area is as devastating as the hurricanes.

Those two are certainly muse worthy! Sorry to hear about the fires. One day at a time and it will certainly get better. And once you have a new shop...that will make it all worth while.

Chin up Minerken! Those pieces you did are beautiful. I'm also in the process of remodeling my shop, so that makes two of us in limbo. I get through it by looking forward to all the fun I'll have when I'm done.
