Hey I was on a beach in Scotland this summer around the Argyl and Bute area and it was laden with flat worn rocks of the Like I had never seen before. The seemed to have a strong metallic look to them...very glittery. I grabbed a handful hoping to work with them. Can anyone offer any hints as to what they may be ?

Good Day and welcome to the forum Cant tell a lot from the picture but appears to be a granite with Mica bits in it. Probably metamorphic. Do you have any other pictures? We would love to see the coast of Scotland from your lens or any other pictures you would care to share with us. Maybe a couple pictures of the rock in different light.
