Nice. Looks like a Grandfather stone in the mix as well. There used to be places on Lake Superior where those could be found.

Hey Duke, it looks like you have some promising rocks there. I see a couple of Petoskeys too. Those rocks with the veins in your third photo look a lot like some rocks I picked up in Marquette. The ones I picked up didn’t tumble well at all. They were super soft. Hopefully yours aren’t the same thing. By the way, the term “Laker” usually refers to Lake Superior agates, which are not normal found in Lake Michigan.

At least that is what my Bro in Law called them. He would only keep the ones that were perfectly round.

I wonder if the uneven tumbled white and brown are lightening stones. They usually tumble evenly, at least in my bucket of lightening stones.

TheRock, Nice finds. Someday I'd love to hound the Great Lakes. It seems that coincidences follow me around. I was going to comment on how your avatar photo looks something like Stephen Stills. Then I discovered your name is Duke. In the song "Cowboy Movie" from David Crosby's album "If I Could Only Remember My Name" the character "Duke - kind of mean & from the south" is Stephen Stills. Also the image on your video "Rock Hunting Lake Michigan" reminds me of the "If I Could Only Remember My Name" album cover. Hmmm Lynn
