Some mighty fine preforms there Michael! I especially like the Ohio Flint with the river running through it. Looks like you're flying over a river gorge. I hope the pattern doesn't change too much during grinding.

Wow those are really nice! The flint preforms are my favorites too. Boy, I've collected a lot of Mariposite and that sure don't look anything like it. Looks more translucent and jade like to me. You sure of that ID? Is it soft like Mariposite..Mel

You sure of that ID? Is it soft like Mariposite..Mel Yes sir,This is the material Scott was selling several years ago (I bought 12 pounds)... I finally started slabbing it....... Hey Scott!!!!! Its soft material with gold (pyrite) flakes in it....

I knew I recognized the Ohio Flint. I still got about 20 pounds to cut up yet. Love the preforms !
