Looks like quartz and mica, the orange is rust. I don't want to brag but I found a piece of quartz and mica with aqua marine and the crystals? (Probably not the right word) of quartz and mica were 1 to 2". My point is to look for the same stuff with bigger crystals Ryan flic.kr/p/V2wybt

Looks like heavily weathered granite, which does become crumbly.
