I was messing around with the camera today and came across this photo when I downloaded the memory card. This is the outside of a tumbled Brazilian agate Chuck

Surprised nobody asked about the apparatus between the lens and the rock.

Bausch and lomb swivel stand magnifier with light. Neat little gizmo and comes in handy. Chuck

It's an interesting image. The Super shine seems to be framed by a matted surface on the top and sides. The transition is not so clear on the bottom. The camera lens does not appear to be shooting through the apparatus at the bottom of the reflection.
I would imagine some type of polarized magnifying bench top lenses.
