In cutting some of the summer's collection, I found a nice piece of mooseblood. Anyone care to share how they cabbed it. Its softer than thingsI have worked with before.
Thanks
Would a Moderator please move this to creating cabochons.

I don’t do much cabbing, but I have done several Kona dolomite cabs. I just work them as usual and finish them off with Zam on a flat wheel. The Zam really brings out the shine, although they’ll never get as shiny as an agate.

It’s been quite a while since I have cabbed it but if memory serves me well, I had good success with tin ox on felt.
Peace, Rich

I used diamonds on the genie and had good luck. It is soft so just go easy. It does polish beautifully.
