I almost bought an MK 170. But Lowes (where I'd ordered it) kept dicking me around, so I bought a used saw elsewhere.

I almost bought an MK 170. But Lowes (where I'd ordered it) kept dicking me around, so I bought a used saw elsewhere. Checked a hand full of on-line places, found that one from a 3rd party Walmart vendor...CPO Outlets. Funny, MK Diamonds is in Torrance, CA......CPO Outlets is near Los Angeles......The saw was shipped from Suwanee, GA....still got it in 4 days. Anyway, here's a pic of the very first cut....: Some type of Agate from Tooele County Desert, Utah........my son collects there....: This is my first diamond "wet" saw......so I really have no idea what to expect. Have owned a few dry table saws. Card table seems to be working out. So far, the only negative is the small water pan. I'm circulating fresh water from a 5 gallon bucket. Pump is adjustable, just haven't dialed it in yet, but that one stone cut filled the catch pan........the cut went smooth and quick, it's an MK blade but no ID numbers. Gonna give it a work-out today, see if she is as advertised.
