When I first started making full wire wraps I would never wear them. When I started groove wrapping I found a couple that I would wear but I only wore them to rock shows I was selling at. This pendant was started from scratch with the intention of being something I could wear more often. I did not want anything polished and pretty. The goal was to have a vintage silver look to it. The finish is lightly sanded then dipped in LOS and rubbed with 0000 steel wool. All three stones are self collected off the shores of Lake Huron,MI Chuck

Beautiful to look at, and well crafted. Special because the stones are self collected.
I hope you do wear it!

Agree with Jean. Special because YOU made it, and that it is of local material.

Great work! What's the black? The black is Gowganda tillite. Some call it black or dark pudding stone. Basalt and granite conglomerate. Chuck

Looks great! You were worried for nothing. I like the patina. Thanks - I have had trouble in the past with sharp corners on the bezels. I put a slight radius on them and hoped for the best. Chuck

That looks great, Chuck. I have some questions:
Did you do a cutout on the back of Drummond Island or Michigan?
Can I see the side? I'd like to see the silver work more.
If someone requests one of those at a show, will you make them one or are you going to keep this as a one of a kind piece just for you? I vote for the latter.

Not bad for East coast stones eh? The back has a Michigan shape cutout. No plans to duplicate it but if there were interest I could do something similar. I posted the cab on Facebook and it got more likes and comments then anything else I have posted in the past. Maybe I'll take a side shot photo if I take it off again :-) Chuck

This was my first attempt at going for a distressed look I think for a guy pendant it looks better then the high polish look The only issue is that when someone sees it they may think that is the quality of my silver work Chuck
