He did both of those in one afternoon with a Mapp gas torch and a dremel? You surely must be an amazing teacher! Kudos to both of you. I agree with MsAli. I like the rose, too.
Did he supply the stones or did you? Beautiful cabs.

I had the stones, from the same friend I got some of the tools from. Learned the rose on here, I could look up the kind womans name who showed us how to do it. She is the amazing teacher.

Those are nice. Kuddos to the teacher and the student. Never underestimate the power of a Dremel, map gas torch, amazing teacher and someone who is driven to learn.

If I remember right, it was fantastic5 who showed you the rose. Those pieces are very nice. You did a good job teaching! I can't believe it was just map gas.

You are clearly an amazing teacher toiv0 , fabulous pieces, and for one afternoons work. Mind blown!! And I can't take credit for the silver rose. My teacher, Barbara Fields, at William Holland taught us how to do them. Rose Tutorial

Billy, those are pretty amazing. You folks that do smithing and wrapping make me jealous. I'd love to be able to do something like that. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but my artistic talent level is just about zero. That's great stuff.
