Looks good, Chuck. Petoskey stones look great wrapped in silver. I don't know if you're getting any faster at the silver work, but it sure looks good when you're finished.

Excellent work- I'm aspiring to do this with some stones the family collected over summer vacation. Thanks for the inspiration!

Damn! That is one fine stone and one nice pendant! Very clean- love it! Thanks for the progress pictures. Thanks Tela. I got this one all done and took pictures then realized the bezel had micro scratches the camera picked up on. I had completely forgotten a few steps so I had go back and start over. That is the problem with only doing this stuff every few months. As soon as I seen the scratches I knew what I had missed. Chuck

These pictures are the after shots. I would not have posted the first set of pictures. I have those pads but never thought to use them during my initial silver polishing. I do use the shine bright rag as my last step but those are probably not as coarse as the pads. Chuck

Ditto on all the above AND nice, professional photo of the finished product. I have to build myself a light box.

Ditto on all the above AND nice, professional photo of the finished product. I have to build myself a light box. Thank you. I do not use a light tent or any fancy lighting. I just posted some details and pictures of my photo set up last week in the tumble section. lighting can be found here forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/84435/new-8-23Chuck

Wow that's beautiful Chuck! I have never worn a pendant in my life but I think if you send that one to me immediately I will start Now that's a compliment. Thank you. Chuck Yet again I am blown away by the selflessness and generosity of a member on this board. I opened the mail box yesterday and guess what was waiting for me Seriously Chuck I am again at a loss for real words so again I will say thank you! It's every bit as beautiful and more in person and although I was jesting about sending it to me I was not even slightly kidding about the I would wear it part. Eva thinks you might have started something here... she caught me suspiciously looking at her pendants this morning to see what else would look good on me Thank you sir! I am honored.
