Hello all,
Expert opinion needed on this piece that I found while rooting through crates this weekend. A tooth of some sort. I'm thinking prehistoric elephant Gomphotherium of some sort, such as Tetralophodon. Thoughts?

I don't know. Didn't look like it to me, but fossils are not my area of expertise. It has four ridges, so Tetralophodon made sense, but if anyone knows for sure, I'm opn to suggestions.

Not mammoth. Mammoth has a flat chewing surface.
