This was in a package I received yesterday. Reminds me of spiny oyster. Am I correct on the ID? I have never seen spiny this large before, so might be off on the ID. The pieces are all about 3" long. Thanks f1 f2

fernwood Beth, I got some plain ones in a box from Stephan. If you want them, I'll send them to you. They seem like something you could use. Just give me some time to get it off. I already got the other package ready to mail. They are of graduating lengths. First thing I thought of was wind chimes.

I had a friend who was Native American. He used these for all kinds of things from the 70's inward. They do make a nice sound.
