I used a jewelry saw for the first time in 25 years. Had to make a hillbilly bench pin. Really happy with how the ring turned out. I hate cutting small cabs and round cabs.

Very nice! That cab turned out great! I don't like to do small or round, either. How have you gotten away without doing any sawing? When I was smithing, I sawed a lot.

Very nice work. My bench pin set-up is almost identical.

Good job on the Wedjat! Congrats on taking your jeweler's saw out of retirement. Looks like your bench pin worked just fine.

That’s just eye popping!
I like the bench peg too. Folk think that just because something is for sale they have to buy one. This seems bizarre to me - as makers, why don’t we make more like this? I used to use a piece of untreated pine as a charcoal block. Yes it smoked but the block never broke. I’ve seen some complaints that straight out from delivery the block broke on first heating. I’d be well annoyed!!
Back to your work & i’d Be walking like an Egyptian if I made that! 😉
