This is the rock that my son found that got him into rock hounding- and subsequently sucked me in. We haven't gotten a definitive answer on whether it's a Tee Pee Canyon or a Fairburn agate. I'm leaning towards Tee Pee. The problem is that it was found about 90 miles south of me and the Fairburns and Tee Pees are found north of here. He did find both pieces on a graded road. Not the best pic, but it's the only one I have- and the rock is in his possession

Nice patterns. I'm thinking they look like Tee Pee.

Nice patterns. I'm thinking they look like Tee Pee. Thanks, like I said I think it is also. Either way, it's a beautiful stone- of course it looks way better in person. He tried to find the third piece, but no luck.

That one would have started me off, too! I'm leaning more towards Tee Pee, too. Very nice.
