This is an old Vibrasonic vibe ad. Same base but 2 different hopper configurations. It says it will tumble the most delicate materials and suggested dry media for such. I was not successful doing delicate materials wet or dry so I modified it. Universal base will handle 8-12-14 or 35 pound hoppers. Base plus 14 pound hopper purchased used for $150(thanks fantastic5) The large motor within: The adjustable vibration generators: Phase 1 with new steel base and 2 Mini-Sonic hoppers: Worked great on glass using sugar slurry, AO 220 and AO polish but small capacity. Over doubled capacity with newly built hopper. Works equally as well on glass. Makes for a very easy and quick tumble. Polishes great even with steel hopper with no rubber coating. Same 2-step finish using sugar/AO 220/AO polish. I have a basic understanding of vibration mechanics and have a good idea why these mods work on soft material. It also does agate as well, seems no different than stock machine when finishing Mohs 7 stones. This is it's capacity when tumbling glass cabs using 25% media. It does so well with glass it needs to be tested tumbling soft stones. Perhaps with higher ratio of media.
