The RTH has been many years of fun and learning. I hope you guys realize I rarely ever used a computer in the plant business for over 20 years. My first computer engagement was the RTH. I learned the whole gamut of internet communication right here on RTH. Cool folks, crazy folks, lapidary machinery and process, photography, rock collecting, nature, fabrication, financial gain, food, and a plethora of other life pleasures. Even my full time income is now a thriving internet business and most social involvement is on the internet. Thanks for putting up with my cantankerous, opinionated, know-it-all self. I hope I made a donation. Thanks jamesp

Thanks you guys. I love hanging out on this forum. Obviously having posted so much. RTH time and hobbies have been neglected recently. I have been cleaning up, (mostly)cutting trees, and doing ground prep for an add-on to the little cabin. Wife and I have decided to retire here. The add-on will be a pre-fab steel building all one floor. The back section will be climate controlled shop space. Thursday night we had 5 inches of rain and the water fall 'nature area' behind the house needed trimming after a decade of neglect. A small chain saw was used and the small trees and brush was chopped up to small lengths and sent down the flooded creek. So the clean up was sped up considerably by the flood water carrying LOTS of debris away. Someone slept well last night. The grounds have been neglected of recent. A clip from video before clean up at full flood force Only the right side of the creek was cleaned up. ATV trail is on terrace above creek on right and goes for miles thru forest. Lots of exposed granite bedrock.

This video shows progress being made on the site preparation. Lots of rocks here. Tons of big trees. 35 years of yard art and collectables moved/trashed. Very muddy and hard to walk so the video is shaky.
9:30 AM Friday morning and creek flooded at about 70% max.

You should have a new status. Ultimate purveyor of knowledge to help others. I do not like the God like references on current levels. Feel this one would be perfect for all, like you, who have shared so much and are so willing to help others. Tommy Could this be done? For anyone who reaches this many posts.

Thanks fernwood, I am fine laying low. Lime light position if deserved would not really suit me. I may post a lot and have interesting ideas and experiments but I fail in acknowledging others quite often. Might be a victim of Asperger's if I was looking for a modern day excuse. More realistically a selfish trait. Many ways of giving out there. The selfless ones are the administrators and members that woo and pet other members like you do so well .

I'm not a big fan of the whole list of titles - not just the god related ones. The list was created when the forum was new in the majority of the steps occur in the first couple of thousand post which turned out to be quite short sighted. I want to completely redo it but it's just one of those things some people really like the title that they're wearing and others like our humble mr. Price don't want any extra attention paid to them - 'off the scale' suits them just fine. I'll get to working on it someday soon. Hopefully this year.
