Santa showed up with a few new saw blades and a couple of new diamond disc's...........weather warmed up, so the collection I sort last month just for this occasion was begging for attention.....:
Mostly Lavic and Utah material
Using older notched rim for rough cut and basic grinding....saving new blades for another project
Cut up a little over 5lbs
Starting disc shaping......new 60 grit diamond working great
Will take the 60 grit grinds to a second level..........new 100 grit disc..............then onto 120/220 vibe........no rotary for this batch........we'll see how this turns out.

Here's the pic's of everything that was in the vibe batch I pre-formed........The Cerium Oxide worked great, I'll leave the next batch I make in the Polish Cycle with CeO2 longer for a deeper polish luster.......:
Pre-forming sure beats waiting out rotary tumble.......this batch took 6 days to complete.......I'd still be in the first 60/90 cycle with rotary.......lol
