I think I've got a few pretty cool things so far . I got an Ebay auction of ten pounds of slabs (those cherry slabs were not in the auction but there was about a full pound in it), the photography was very poor and I had tried asking the seller questions about the contents of the box. When they didn't respond after a few days I chose the BIN option of 100$. In the box was six slabs of pretty purple/black red & white Tiffany stone, almost 3 pounds worth. This is the smallest of the six in the pic. It was one of the few labeled pieces in the lot. The seller wasn't a "rock" person I think maybe she was selling off an old lapidary store. I've been back to her store a few times (because I feel bad in a way when I realized I got such a deal on the whole thing) but she hasn't been selling anything I can use for what I"m doing. I think it's just one of these things in life, sometimes you get a good deal and sometimes you get taken to the cleaners. It all balances out in the end I suppose.

Yes, the last slabs you showed are Tiffany. You did well. Don't fee bad. She was the incommunicado seller. Can't wait to see the cabs you make of it. It may or may not be fractured. Don't give up on fractured Tiffany. Use some Hxtal or similar epoxy to make fractures disappear. Lynn

Hxtal has been discussed at length. I don't have any bookmarks. A search here or via Google should find them. Lynn
