Nice, sporto. It would be far more helpful to you elaborate on any issues you see instead of complaining as you see fit. We've reached a milestone here, and it's being celebrated. Got an issue with it? Be specific. ETA: Great, see you tomorrow. Had you read this thread.....: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/85628/12-lots-forum-dns-issues
You may have had a better response to my specific issue...........though I doubt it...!
Thanks for your enthusiasm.....as for technical forum issues, best kept to Admin's who have the knowledge and experience required to SOLVE the issue rather than criticize a member who is not as "excited" about a forum milestone and who's name is not SPORTO.........lol
I just replied there, and my feelings are the same. You can be as unexcited as you see fit. I'm guessing you're in the minority. Nevertheless, this is a TEMPORARY change. No need to lose sleep over this. Things will go back to the way that you think they should be.

Maybe we can have some confetti, like snowfall? That might work better. Super goal achieved, I am glad to be a part of this group. I see the confetti, you think we could have asbestos snow?

Congrats to all the players on his forum and particularly to Tommy who with his friends keeps things in shape. 1,000,000 wow, what a great milestone we celebrate. So, I have a quick question who is going to sweep up all the 9997 pieces of confetti, (hint, that's my number), cuz the Cookers over at Big Crazy'x Pastry Shop are going absolutely bonkers having never experience this type of activity before and want dibs on getting the job, They tell me the confetti will look really great on their next batch of Pastry's. Alikat218, aggghhhhh we came close, but never mind we were in the running and ahead of many members in the race. Tommy, do you have the total elapsed time from the fist post to the final 1 millionth post? It would be an interesting statistic and I betcha the next 1 million will be even quicker. Anyone want to guess how long? Congratulations to julieooly for winning. Cheers, johnw

Anyone want to guess how long? John, the first registered member signed up on 03-09-2003 at 17:19 hours. I would agree that the second million would occur sooner, in that the forum was a startup back then. Now, there is momentum. They didn't have that at the outset.

Not to rain on anyones parade, but this confetti is making a huge mess at the bottom of my computer screen and what's more, it's beginning to overflow onto my desk. Cheers, johnw

Cheers, johnw John, I suck at math, so I'll leave that to you. If you suck at math as much as I do, I guess we'll just have to wait for another decade or so to see what happens. This first million took place over just about 16 years.

Cheers, johnw You have to sit and count them You still have 4 more guesses Only need one and the cookers told me what it was. They have this transcendental way of knowing things. But having said that, I am doubting the figure. It seems like what we are looking at is a repeating algorithm and somebody keeps emptying the pot. Cheers, johnw

Amazing, congratulations! I'm happy that I joined in time to witness this! As for the guesses, hmm... 1000 3500 6661 9900 Although I think the number might be relative, since it depends on the width of the screen. My guess would be one per pixel, or one per 5 pixles... or something along these lines.
