i want to glue a bail on a cab that my wife likes. Super glue, epoxy, is there a preferred glue to use?

I used to use super glue. I found that heat or lots of sunlight can make it release. I use 30 minute epoxy now. Lynn

Anytime I am gluing metal to stone I use two-part 5 minute epoxy. If the stone is really shiny in the area you are going to glue the bail I recommend scuffing it directly where the bail will be glued. A small diamond tipped burr and a dremel could be used. Anything to give the glue some bite.
