I so want to be able to create pieces like this again. Calling this one an oldie, but a goodie. The Navajo Craftsmen I was working with noticed my 2 year old daughter did not have a bracelet. They guided me to make this one in the mid 1980's. I still cannot believe she did not lose it, as I was told she needed to wear it at all times. Was made with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. My first bracelet. Used a small map gas torch for welding. The flowers were purchased. The craftsmen shaped the Turquoise for me. I shaped the bezels, cut their backing. Cut the half round silver. When everything was together, I finished the piece and shaped on a child sized wood mandrel. Have to admit, this bracelet was briefly lost a few times, but always found. It is now on display in my living room. My inspiration for the future.

Oh, that is soooo cute! I can see it on a little girl. But, why is it on your mantle and not hers? Not dogging you, Beth. Just wondering why she doesn't have it. Seems like she would want to pass it down or something. When my mom passed away, I got a little bracelet her father made her. By then my kids were too old for it.

I'm not a huge fan of turquoise in general, but that is a very nice piece of jewelry. I love the design of the bracelet.

She was moving so much, I became the keeper of the jewelry. When she wants something, she just asks and I give it to her.
