A big howdy from Virginia! Not many people from your neck of the woods. I hope you share some pictures of what you find there.

Hi, neighbor! Greetings from Vermont. What kinds of things are you interested in? Minerals, fossils, lapidary, tumbling, micromounts --?

Thanks for the welcome.
I have had an interest in tumbling for years, really since I was a teenager. Now that I'm nearing retirement it seems like the right time. I have lots of rocks I've saved over the years for that 'someday' that Iv'e collected from all over. In particular, have a handful from beaches in Greece - in Greece the beaches don't have sand, but tiny smooth pebbles, most about the size of a lima bean. So I don't ruin my cache, I'll post some pictures along with some questions.
I've lurked the forum for a few weeks gathering some knowledge on what to buy so by next week I should have all equipment and supplies needed.
Thanks!
