Wow! Thanks! We’ve been to the Tucson show twice. So glad. We saw things we have never seen before. What an eye opener and feast for the eyes.

beefjello - Brian, thanks for the photos. It's good to see that someone has Indian Blanket jasper for sale. It's the stuff between the Dino Bone & the Tiffany. Did you catch the name of the vendor selling it? Lynn

My folks live in the Tucson area. I should have visited them during the show. Maybe next year.

Oh, good Lord. Between you and @hookedonrocks tonight, I'm lucky I haven't dropped dead.
Now I know why we don't go to Tuscon. I'd be destitute.
Thanks for sharing all that delicious eye candy!

beefjello nice tour! Thank you. zarguy the Indian Blanket vendor is Zion Prospector (Todd Harris) out of Springdale UT. This year's guide book for the Tucson show listed 54 different venues! Best advice...leave the credit card at home!

Nice picture tour. What prices I can see sure seem high to me, suppose it's whatever the demand will set. I find it difficult to believe that some of those pieces will sell at the price marked. Is there any bargaining possible at these Shows? maybe on the last day when folks are packing up?

Sweet material down at the show... I know Casey is down there too (Richardson Ranch), with a huge booth area… They have a huge stock of material that they purchased through the world...

Best advice...leave the credit card at home! Thanks. I know Todd. Nice guy. He's the guy who discovered Tiffany Stone while working at the Brush-Wellman mine near Topaz Mtn. He spoke at our rock club meeting last summer & told us the history & gossip about Tiffany Stone. BTW, Kendall Gardner, the owner of the Indian Blanket Jasper mine passed away last fall. He was too young to go (early '60s). I think Diabetes got him. He had 1 1/2 legs amputated a few years ago. I got to go to the mine, meet him, and buy some rough before he lost his legs. If I leave the credit card at home, I might as well not go! I always see stuff that I want. Then I buy some of it. I can't help it. They're so beautiful. Lynn

Wow, thanks for the pictures. I'd like to get down there sometime. Probably just wind up wandering around babbling to myself.

Thanks everyone! taylor thanks for answering zarguy on the Indian Blanket/Tiffany vendor. Only fitting that you know him Lynn. It's a small world after all drocknut thanks for adding the pics! That dragonfly mosaic you're under is right where all the cool tables were (but you knew that) Tucson and Quartzsite are definitely two different experiences.

That vendor had loads of potato sized 'Grade A' nodules for only $200 per lb. Some were somewhat windowed, others were a crap shoot.. all were way above my paygrade. The same vendor though had OJ rough marked down from $5/lb to $3.50/lb. Picked up a pretty promising 8 lb chunk
