This pile looks like it should have some really nice pieces. Can't wait to see how the blue and purple material turns out. How did the Dead Camel cut?

I sent some of the baskenite to be cut in a trade but the guy cut the stuff so thin that all I can use it for is pocket knife scales. I did cut a few slabs of the Dead Camel jasper and the baskinite and cabbed a few end pieces.
I need to get down to the gem club shop and cut some more one of these days but been really busy helping a friend gut his new house and re-do all the interior. Putting in a lot of hours with that.

Really dig that white and black one. You'll have to post pics when you cut it

Agree with MsAli. The black and white one is cool. The fossilized burro teeth made me laugh. Waiting for pics of the blue one.

Agree with MsAli . The black and white one is cool. The fossilized burro teeth made me laugh. Waiting for pics of the blue one. I have several blues in different shades. One is a smaller one about 5 inches long. I threw that in the tumbler with with really rough chalcedony plates to see if I can grind off some of the crust. So that will probably be a week before I pull it out. The larger sky blue piece I will try and photograph in the next day or two. Still cleaning up a lot of pieces.

Chris and I went to the Las Vegas rock club meeting the week before the trip (as we were stuck in town and a friend we were staying with is a member so we went to check it out). Sounded like a fun trip to go on but we had our local show on the same weekend. You guys sure plan some good trips. Tony Should have found me and said hi. I was there. James, We sat at the newbie table and talked with the new people, it was fun. We came with Jason Fabbi but he was out in the lobby the whole time making sales. Cool club you guys have there. Tony

Quite a haul, sure wish we could find that much variety in one locality here. Thanks for the show.
