Made it back from Deming last night, 12 hours, about 820 miles. The Show was fun, sales were a bit slow however I did make gas money plus some. More importantly I helped my friend, who had recently lost her spouse, with the Show setup and the Booth and a few chores around the house. Did get to go out to Big Diggings one afternoon and managed to find several decent cutting pieces. As soon as i get truck unloaded and catch up on my home chores I will post a few pictures. (Tomato plants in the ground take priority) There was another silver lining to the trip, I got to meet toiv0. He came down to bring me a piece of his silver work to complete an informal barter we had arranged. It was a real pleasure to meet him, quality person! That's 2 for 2 as I met txrockhunter a couple of years ago in Alpine for 3 of Teri's trips. Looking forward to meeting a few more of the folks out here, just a word of warning, these two gentlemen have set the bar pretty high!! I will let you figure out who is who! Was super meeting Mr. Henry also. I'm not sure I fit into the same category of Henry HankRocks Jeremy @txrockhound. It seems every one I have dealt with on the forum has been top notch so far. His friend at the show was pretty cool, she knew her materials and am sure she appreciated your help. What a nice thing you do for your friend, now that's a bar set pretty high.
