I can remember when Easter cards were a thing. Now, if you are lucky, you may get a Jacquie Lawson eCard, lol. Not handwritten, no personal news like in days gone past. My mom used to send out about half as much Easter cards as she did Christmas cards.

My sister sends them to me several times a year. Don't get me wrong, I like her cards, they are nice to look at and listen to, but not the same as as receiving a paper card with a handwritten note, catching you up on all the pertinent news.
I guess most people don't have the time to write letters anymore (I know I don't!). But I remember when my mom did it all the time.
Just another sign of the times...
